Adventure Time with Fionna and Marshall Leeby *behindinfinity

It's been no secret that my friends and I have been really into Adventure Time. I'm happy we finally got to do a proper shoot for it!

Some of my favorite Adventure Time episodes are those which revolve around Finn's friendship with Marceline, so I feel like I'd feel the same way when we get to see more of Fionna with Marshall Lee. While we're waiting for another genderswap episode, I immensely enjoy seeing fan animations like Marshall Time

_{A bit about the costume:}

Marshall Lee's design looks simple, but sometimes that makes errors so much more apparent.

My friends and I had worn our Adventure Time costumes to an event about a month ago, where we learned some lessons about wearing these cosplays, particularly the face and body paint. I've been able to make improvements on mine, which I'm pretty satisfied with now. It's not easy being vampire-colored!

For the wig, I got a fluffy, heat-resistant black wig and cut and styled the spikes. I made them retain their shape by using got2b hair glue and a curling iron.

For pointed ears, I heard about using nail adhesive on the tips of your real ears and just pinching them into the right shape. I had trouble with nail adhesive I found at my local department store which didn't work for this purpose, but I chanced upon a gel-type kind from a Japanese store which worked excellent, didn't damage skin and came off easily when I needed to take it off.

Finding a dominantly red and black plaid shirt was frustratingly difficult, so I just got the closest fabric I could find and dyed it. Process here

Also, learning to float is the reason my body is aching until now. But it was totally worth it!
