First of the Bleach Casual Artbook-Inspired Cosplay Series! (I really should think of a shorter name for this.) here

Since we're all huge Bleach geeks, this was inevitable. Title is from the song Asterisk by Orange Range - the first opening sequence of the Bleach anime, which is our absolute favorite. It was one of the things that first made us all fall in love with Bleach.

This shot was based on a particular piece from the Bleach artbook, All Color But the Black - which is also the colored spread in Chapter 162 [link] Our favorite illustrations from the book are of the characters in casual clothes, which was the inspiration for this photoshoot. _{That, and the fact that we couldn't wait to cosplay them though our proper costumes aren't done yet, haha. So we worked with what we already had, and just grabbed outfits from our closets.}
