Bleach Chapter 237: Goodbye, Halcyon Days [link]
The angle, composition, and our arrangement for this shot was inspired by Kubo Tite's art. And before you complain about my, er... soft pose, remember that this is Ishida we're talking about. XD
And while it might seem to most people a fairly simple group shot, it actually does mean a lot to me, especially in relation to the Bleach chapter title I chose to attach to it.
SLIGHT SPOILER!
Orihime was the one who wrote the line "Goodbye, Halcyon Days" and of course for her it meant the calm days she spent with the people she cared for, especially Ichigo.
The phrase makes me think of days like the one we held this photoshoot in, where we found comfort in each other's company, in the silly jokes and the geeky fun of running around as our favorite characters. Days when all our worries just seem to lose meaning and melt away. The kind of day that people tend to take for granted until the moment when goodbyes have to be said.
Sigh. Please pardon the emo-ing. I just read that chapter again and watched Episode 141. Damn you, Orihime. Why must you make my heart hurt. Haha.

"Halcyon days" is Old English influenced by the Greek language, literally meaning calm days; a reference to the fourteen days of calm weather the ancients believed to precede the winter solstice (the shortest day of the year, when the darkness of night lasts the longest) that coincided with the brooding of the Halcyon.
