We had a photoshoot to commemorate the beautiful (and totally not between a pedophile and jailbait _*wink*) bond of Chinese military officer Li Xingke and the young empress Tianzi.

Notes:
I had the chance to work behind the camera again, and even though I'm not completely confident in my photography skills, it's always a great learning experience and a lot of fun.

For this photo, I was aiming to capture Xingke and Tianzi inside the Forbidden City. I would have liked to stick to my resolution to take shots that look more cinematic rather than posed, but it seems I have to break it for now.

My other selection from the pictures I took on this spot was this [link] Their expressions are more natural and better depict their relationship, but I didn't capture it from the best angle, and it looks a little funny. It's as if I had just Photoshopped them onto the location - or I was taking a picture of the architecture and they just happened to be sitting nearby. I definitely need to practice more in this aspect - balancing the focus between the subjects and massive yet necessary structures in the background.
