Cosplay of the Dead is basically an indie movie about a zombie outbreak at a cosplay convention. My role for the trailer was officially "Takashi Komuro cosplayer" and Markee happened to be cosplaying Kayako from the Asian horror film, Ju-On (The Grudge). _{Forgive me for the title of this photo, I couldn't help myself, hahahah!}

While waiting in between filming times, most of us made use of the location by doing random shoots. One of the results was this crossover with me and Markee. This was my FFFFFUUUUUUUU moment

Markee as Kayako is a pretty complicated character within the context of the movie trailer. A cosplayer portraying a ghost, who turns into a zombie. In that scenario I guess it would make sense that I'm reaching for my baseball bat. But if we were to take it as an actual crossover of the series we're cosplaying (Kayako the ghost, haunting Takashi's school) it'd be a little odd. What use would a bat be against a vengeful spirit, I wonder?

I can't wait to write about and post more behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot when I find the time. I should probably share more about it when the trailer is released.
