I'll Find My Way Home by behindinfinity I'll Find My Way Home by behindinfinity
Full-view, please and thank you!

Never forget to appreciate the beauty of little things.

For this series, my intention was to capture images that would evoke emotions, as opposed to producing well-composed photographs of particular subjects. I wanted the pictures to look like frames taken straight out of my memory, and for whoever is looking at them to see through my eyes and feel a bit of what I felt that morning. I guess most people might see them as nothing more than simple photos of flowers and and grass, but if my message finds its way to even a single person, I'd feel so accomplished.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I take photos for myself as a means of expression or as a way to preserve memories, among many other reasons. That alone is enough to give me a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment. But as with so many other things like life, love, or a round of beers - any form of art is made more meaningful and rewarding when you don't keep it all to yourself. It's better when it's shared, so that it might bring people together. I guess that's why I'm here.

These photos are from the first batch I shot with my new Canon EOS 400D. I woke up extra early one morning and just walked around outside. For those of you wondering - I only used the kit lens because that's all I have for now, but I'm still learning the basics so I'm happy with it.

I've been inactive for a while, and I hope this first submission in months doesn't cause too much disappointment. A lot of you probably added me because of the cosplay photos but that's not all I do so I hope you guys can appreciate my other works, as well. :)

Do you happen to have any of these photos in high resolution for a desktop background by chance? They're extremely gorgeous.

Maybe it has something to do with the aperture you're using and your distance to the subject? I'm not sure how exactly to help, I'm sorry. ^^;

Ah that's fine! :D
It probably has to do with my aperture...eventually I'll recall how to change it on my camera XD;;;
