Full-view, please and thank you!

Never forget to appreciate the beauty of little things.

For this series, my intention was to capture images that would evoke emotions, as opposed to producing well-composed photographs of particular subjects. I wanted the pictures to look like frames taken straight out of my memory, and for whoever is looking at them to see through my eyes and feel a bit of what I felt that morning. I guess most people might see them as nothing more than simple photos of flowers and and grass, but if my message finds its way to even a single person, I'd feel so accomplished.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I take photos for myself as a means of expression or as a way to preserve memories, among many other reasons. That alone is enough to give me a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment. But as with so many other things like life, love, or a round of beers - any form of art is made more meaningful and rewarding when you don't keep it all to yourself. It's better when it's shared, so that it might bring people together. I guess that's why I'm here.

These photos are from the first batch I shot with my new Canon EOS 400D. I woke up extra early one morning and just walked around outside. For those of you wondering - I only used the kit lens because that's all I have for now, but I'm still learning the basics so I'm happy with it.

I've been inactive for a while, and I hope this first submission in months doesn't cause too much disappointment. A lot of you probably added me because of the cosplay photos but that's not all I do so I hope you guys can appreciate my other works, as well. :)

It's been such a time you've uploaded something new. I guess you are busy in your school, am I right? We're all busy except weekends. *sigh*

Anyway, I love this piece really. I love how you combine pictures. They are all lovely.

By the way, what camera do you use? It seems like all the photos are so soft and touches the depth of field so nice.

i think all pictures express emotions. you just have to put a good title. if a picture is worth a thousand words, then pick the words that would suit it, right? :)

Beeautiful. C: I love how you captured the emotions. 8DD

Maybe. But you can't always append titles to photos the way you can here. During exhibits, people usually just look at the titles as an afterthought, if a piece captures their interest enough. I want my shots to evoke emotion with or without the help of words. :)

Do humans really need to know that?
Look at how far they've come without knowing.
