I like painting,

and I'm not very good at introductions.

Perhaps it's about time for a new photo that's not of me cosplaying any particular characters, like my previous IDs.

Most of you have probably stumbled over here because of some cosplay thing, but that's just a tiny part of me. As for the rest of who I am... well, I'm not particularly good with words but I work better with visual assistance. Here's a journal entry that's like a condensed autobiography of sorts:

It makes me really happy to hear that a lot of you find meaning in my journal posts - in my my messy writing and snapshots of everyday things. Also, some of you guys leave the funniest, most interesting comments and I look forward to hearing from everyone even if I'm constantly losing the battle with my inbox.

_{Truth be told, I think my dA page gets way too much exposure, to the extent that it sometimes makes me feel uncomfortable. Occasionally, I get chastised and berated for a lot of things like the so-called popularity (I hate that word and its effect on people) which I didn't even ask for. There are times I wonder if I should just hide from the internet completely to make things easier. Those thoughts are fleeting, because they're easily pushed away when I remember what really matters - the great memories my friends and I make, and how it brightens my day to share a bit of that with whoever will care to stop by.}

Someone once told me that I was able to make them smile even after they just had the worst day of their life. I'm not entirely sure what it is, but I must be doing something right.
