"Shall I play you a sad song, my lord?"

:blackrose: Kuroshitsuji Photo Set (still incomplete)

:blackrose: About the photo:
I imagined this to be one of the times wherein Sebastian senses that Ciel is in need of some form of catharsis, and offers to play him a sad song rather than encouraging him to train with his violin.

It's kind of like how he conveniently happens to have prepared some soothing milk tea in time to serve to Ciel as he wakes up from a nightmare. He just knows, and it's eerie even though his actions seem warm.

Let me be the first to say that I have had no violin training whatsoever. I did my best to pose and not drop the violin while slightly impaired by my shoddy gloves (which I hope to improve on in the future). A sad song was indeed played when I accidentally stroked the bow against the strings for a moment while adjusting my pose. So I apologize that my form is incorrect. At best I hope I look as though I am just getting into position to play. When I did the more correct position, the violin looked like a plank in the photo and the focal point was my nostrils.

That aside, I edited the shot to make it somewhat reminiscent of Victorian photographs. I could not help finding inspiration in the location we were in.

The title is from a somber musical composition. I was originally hoping to make an allusion to Tchaikovsky's Valse Sentimentale, but the title length limit could not accommodate it, hahah.

I still can't help feeling a little guilty for uploading cosplay photos while the source of our inspiration is experiencing hardship. I hope I do not come off as insensitive. My friends in Japan have been doing their best to stay cheerful and go on with our lives normally, so I felt they would like for us to do the same as we support them.

I actually also wanted to take this opportunity to share a journal post I made regarding the situation in Japan. I'm certain most of you have already heard the devastating news. However, I would like to share some uplifting stories from the people in Japan for us to not give up hope, along with a list of ways we can help. :)

Kindly check here for the post:

Thank you for your time!

The place is familiar though. I saw it in my cosplay photobook. I bought it last cosplay mania.
