I've styled a number of wigs for cosplay, but I think this one is my masterpiece.

It started out as a shoulder-length, straight wig. All I needed was a pair of regular scissors, a pair of thinning scissors, some hairspray and the little bit of hairstyling knowledge I've gained through trial and error.

I customized this wig for Miguel

, who will be our L for the Death Note cosplay photoshoot that we will have VERY SOON.

Clearly, I am excited. Hahaha. I tried the wig on to show him how it looked, and I got a little carried away with the webcam. Oops. I'm supposed to be Light!

Don't worry, guys. I assure you, ~merkymerx will look better in this wig. ^_^ He has larger eyes and a rounder face, like manga/anime L. I probably look more like Ken'ichi Matsuyama. LOL.

So uh, pardon the photo quality. They're just webcam pictures that I took while chatting/webcamming with Miguel (L) and China (Misa). I didn't bother polishing it with Photoshop and just stuck everything into one file and doodled on it.
