This is a painting I completed about two years ago, for a group painting exhibition at the LRI Design Plaza. I painted solitary girls in quiet, dreamy places. It's a theme I tend to gravitate to for my personal work.

For this piece, I used acrylic paint on canvas, stretched over a 48" x 48" frame.

A friend of mine recommended I give the website a shot, so here we go! I'm always happy to find alternative ways to share my art. I remember how honored I was when a friend asked me to design a tattoo for her. Having people use my illustrations as iPod/iPhone skins would feel kind of like that, but less extreme of course.

It's amazing how you made the acrylic look like watercolor. It has an airy flow that I've never seen in acrylic. Her eyes really stand out.
