Moonflower

This is a painting I completed about two years ago, for a group painting exhibition at the LRI Design Plaza. I painted solitary girls in quiet, dreamy places. It's a theme I tend to gravitate to for my personal work.

For this piece, I used acrylic paint on canvas, stretched over a 48" x 48" frame.

I remember how honored I was when a friend asked me to design a tattoo for her. Having people use my illustrations as iPod/iPhone skins would feel kind of like that, but less extreme of course.}
