Here's a photo from last weekend, when we attended an event as a Naruto: Shippuuden group and went out for dinner afterwards in our costumes. Some kids we ran into actually thought I was the "real" Naruto, hahaha. Awww.

This is the result of my current obsession with Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto artbook, Uzumaki. I've had the scans for a while, but never fully appreciated the illustrations and the thoughts behind them until I got my hands on the actual book.

This shot, as well as my post-processing, was inspired by one of the Uzumaki artbook drawings of Naruto and Iruka having ramen at Ichiraku. I just wanted Team 7 (yes, including both Sasuke and Sai) doing something like bonding over dinner. I miss seeing them like that.

Please pardon the fact that some parts of our costumes are missing (like gloves and Sasuke's bracers). We really were having dinner, and it's rather troublesome to eat with all that stuff on. Here's to hoping that Yamato can join us next time! We'll need backup in case Kakashi gets drunk on sake again!

If you don't like Naruto, cosplay or geeks like us - just close the window or ignore the thumbnail. I'm sure you're capable of that much. Takes a lot less effort than typing up a whole comment about how much you don't like it. Don't stress yourself out with spite. Use your time to do something else, because whatever you say won't change the way we are anyway.
