Remember this well...

This drill rips holes through the fabric of the universe...

Those holes shall become the path of those who will follow us.

The wishes of the fallen and the hopes of everyone who follows - with those two thoughts, and twenty spirals weaved in, we will carve the path to tomorrow!

That is TENGEN TOPPA!
That is GURREN-LAGANN!

The above excerpt might sound like utter nonsense to those of you who haven't followed the series, but I am not ashamed to say that I sobbed uncontrollably during the final episode (...and yeah okay many many other parts) especially during that MANLY SPEECH THAT DRILLS THROUGH THE FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE. Gurren Lagann is the first series that had me crying countless times not just because of saddening turns of events; other times, I cried because I was filled with overwhelming admiration and hope.

:bulletgreen: Revoltech No. 62: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
:bulletblue: photographed by me :iconbehindinfinity:
:bulletwhite: background stock from :iconresurgere:

This photo was brought to you by my fangasming over my new toy. I got my Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann yesterday after months of waiting for it to be released. Gah, it's BEAUTIFUL. I was wondering how they'd manage to make a figure based on this :pointr: [link] but Revoltech pulled it off wonderfully! The flames look fantastic!

Some of you might be wondering about the color overload and choice of background. I based it off the setting for the final episode, THE DIMENSION OF CHEERFULLY COLORFUL GALAXIES :pointr: [link]

:bulletblack: Scrapped because I reviewed my photos and apparently took better shots. Oops, haha. Will replace this another time.

Elizabeth: You and I are alike. There will come a moment when you have a chance to show it. To do the right thing.

(Captain) Jack: I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.

In a coloring book, the lines are there to guide you.
Like in life, there are lines that show you the way.
You follow those lines until you are ready to break free.
Until ready to color outside of the lines.
