Still continuing our series of Alice in Wonderland-inspired portraits, here is Kat's own portrayal of the Red Queen (from Through the Looking Glass). The necklace she's holding is The Looking Glass, our mirror pendant design for our new collection for Tuxessories — Tux in Wonderland.

This ornately framed pendant is made of mirror finish acrylic. It reflects as perfectly as glass mirrors do, even though it is made of lightweight acrylic. The edges glow when the light hits it right. On the center of the mirror surface is a delicate inscription of a phrase that Alice had exclaimed — "Curiouser and curiouser" The silver-toned chain is accented by two authentic freshwater pearls.

When we were talking about which characters we wanted to be for this shoot, Kat insisted on being the Red Queen so that she could take a break from the type of characters she usually cosplays — kind and bubbly girls who smile a lot

It was fascinating to watch her try new things with makeup that really transformed her look. She was a joy to shoot for me because she was really feeling this refreshing change of character.
