We shouldn't blame ourselves for bad things that happened to us. Sometimes, no matter what we do, we are victims of the circumstances. We should just have to pull ourselves out.

Kenshin, Kaoru, Yahiko and Sano managed to fight their way through the tribulations that bound them, and found purpose and a different kind of strength through each other.

For this group shot, we tried to visually depict their relationships. I chose to unsheathe a part of the reverse-edged blade to show how Kenshin vowed to protect the innocent and the people who are important to him, without resorting to killing. Miguel propped his arm on my shoulder to represent how Sano is Kenshin's trusted friend and self-appointed partner _{(in fighting, you silly Yaoi Enforcers)}. Yahiko stands close by, eager to learn from the man who acknowledged his strength when no one else did, and helped him grow. Kaoru stays by Kenshin's side, to literally portray how she stands by him and never loses faith regardless of the circumstances.
