Cosplay not completed yet but I'm happy with how it's turning out. Art is a BANG!!

As an artist who loves Naruto, how could I not cosplay Deidara? Hahahah

I'm still missing a lot of stuff so don't take this too seriously

I basically just threw the coat and wig over my pajamas so I didn't bother with his black nail polish and stuff! I almost didn't want to mess around with eyeliner but I did, and I'm glad I spontaneously figured out how to do his eye shape on my eyelids. I couldn't get it right before.

When I first put this on Facebook, a lot of people didn't recognize me. I don't usually get to pull out my evil grin and crazy eyes, so this is a lot of fun!

My Akatsuki coat was a present from

*pandari when I attended Fanime 2008! After so long, finally progress on this cosplay! (My previous wig attempts were not successful) I'm sorry it took so long, Pandari! Even if it takes ages, I don't let go of promises!

My base wig was from Lilie's Cosplay Shop. It's excellent! I'm not done cutting and styling yet but I'm very satisfied with how it's looking so far. I'm grateful that one of my dream wig projects is making good progress!

I'm using the Jewel Grey lenses from Alice and Rabbit's Shop here but I think I'll switch to CosPlus Grey, which is part of my latest lens review:

Just thought I'd share some costume progress with you guys since it feels like a while since my last update! Deidara is quite different from my usual cosplays, and I've always liked his character and design so I am very excited about completing this! I also need to help my Akatsuki partner get himself together, hahah.
