Cosplay really does bring people together.

It was a rainy day outside, but there was a warm, cheerful atmosphere inside Essa and Ysabel's home. After taking pictures with Regine and indulging in tacos, ice cream cake and Sonja's famous cupcakes, we had a mini-shoot for one of our upcoming cosplay projects. Regine, I'm sorry you had to witness such a thing, but as you may have seen, there really is no escape with the presence of Yaoi Enforcers from the Hidden Desire Village - Charmie ~yaoiangel14, Isa !sabotenshi and Kat ~moonlightflight and Essa ~Cyfliq.

I was trying out my Yondaime wig and wearing a simple gi and hakama outfit, and Miguel was dressed up as Sasuke. Since I cosplaying Naruto, I thought I was safe from the rabid SasuNaru fangirls I had mentioned above. But noooo, they had to force crack pairings of:
1. Yondaime x Sasuke (who is from the future, therefore nullifying the canon age difference)
2. older versions of Naruto and Sasuke (though Sasuke doesn't look like he aged much)
3. young Yondaime x young Madara (but Madara is WAY older than Yondaime so it's still wrong)
4. Cloud x short-haired young Zack

As much as I tried to convince them that it simply didn't make sense, it boiled down to the fact that THEY DIDN'T CARE.

After taking pictures with Regine, I stood up to get some ice cream cake when Charmie stopped me and pushed me on to Miguel's lap.

Young Uchiha Madara and Yondaime Hokage. What. Kushina does not approve, and Naruto cries, "DADDY NOOOOOOOO!!!"

IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE

Well, not entirely head-spinning spoilers but I thought a fair warning is in order. It'd be best of you've read up to at least Chapter 382 of the Naruto manga. It's really just information and names that had not been revealed up until that part. If you don't really mind, then go on and scroll down.

We had a rehearsal shoot of sorts for our Naruto family cosplay. We're still working on our proper costumes so we dressed up in other clothes that they might wear. We just wanted to try on our wigs, get a feel of the characters and practice our portrayal to see what needs improvement for the proper photoshoot.

I'm rather happy with how the Yondaime wig turned out. That wig was a BEAST. Took quite a bit of effort to tame it! That smile also took some practice because I'm a bit shy about smiling for pictures.

We don't know much about Naruto's family yet, so don't take the things I'm going to say too seriously. But most of you know how cheesy I can get when it comes to Naruto, so I apologize in advance.

Hello, my name is Minato and this is a story about my family.


Here is a family portrait.


When I first met Kushina, we didn't get along too well.
She was a little tomboyish, and was very loud and mischievous.


She was always teasing me and insisting that we were made for each other.


She tried seducing me too, but that didn't work out too well.


MAI WAIFU
Though her rough ways grew on me after some time, she eventually did become more mature and womanly.


Soon, the change was not merely physical. She stopped hiding behind her teasing and bullying me.


And she captured my heart completely.


We decided to name our little boy "Naruto", after the main character in my master Jiraiya's novel.


He was born 9 months after my birthday. Isn't that strange? [uncomfortable laughter]
(note: It's true, though.)


Such a sweet kid, albeit a bit of a rascal. Just like his mom.


I'm going to teach him everything I know. He'll be a Hokage like no other!


We made cupcakes!


We broke the electric mixer but his attempts at Rasengan were just strong enough to mix the batter. I'm so proud!


And yeah, we went ahead and tried a liiiiittle bit of the frosting.


Now say AAAAAHHHH~

I do a lot of work as the Hokage, so sometimes I immediately fall asleep upon getting home.


When I feel those small hands tousling my hair, I remember the meaning of my existence.
