Is there a dA rule that says we're not allowed to link to YouTube? I was warned about it by someone whose friends got suspended but they couldn't seem to find the policy that states that either.

The mods here pretty much do what they want. They ban what they see, let slide what they don't, and make rules up to justify themselves. It's still censorship. There is a total double standard here. I find that what gets reported, no matter what the nature of the piece is, is what gets banned. Just because most men like crotch, doesn't mean it's art. Crotch is crotch, people.
The only thing I came across under 'OLICIES' was banning explicit material, for the safety of young viewers, and excess animations, the ones that move really quickly, to minimize the chances of someone, maybe with epilepsy, having a seizure by accidentally running across them without warning.
Only if it's copyrighted material, bb. Like if you wanted to link to a video of you playing with your dog, it'd be okay. But if you wanted to link to a full pirated version of one of the Bleach movies, that's not allowed.
TO CLEAR THINGS UP: NO. THERE IS NO RULE THAT STATES YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LINK TO YOUTUBE or tinypic either.
I've read a mod's journal and apparently the person(s) were suspended because they linked to the sharing (that means places you can download) pirated movies or something.
