Although, by what I'm getting off from your personality with the way you blog, I can easily say your personality can give Naruto a run for his money, I'm not going to relate you to him solely on that.

That being said, I'm going to have to say that I associate you with the Ouran Host Club. You being related to, or resembling Haruhi Fujioka.
(I know an explanation isn't needed, but I feel the need to explain my answer)
When Haruhi is with the Host Club, she isn't afraid of being herself and who she really is. Upon reading your blogs and all the high jinks that come across you and your friends, that's how I think you are. When you're with your friends you aren't afraid to let go and do absolutely anything when you're with them. Crazy or Crazier.

Then, there's Haruhi when the Host Club takes in customers, she's decked out to look like one of the boy's since she has to pass as one. This is how I relate you to Haruhi in the means of your cosplay. Like Haruhi, when you're in cosplay (and in Haruhi's case when the Host Club is open), you have an image you have to keep up or in the only words I can think of right now, an image you're "protecting". Haruhi and the Host Club want to keep it that way-make the people believe she's one of them, much like you and your friends keep it that way as well when you're cosplaying.

Basically, those are the major points of why I chose to relate you to Haruhi. A bonus is that, she's smart, and by reading your blogs and writing (I am a fan of your writing, by the way) I can tell that you're very knowledgable. But, in all honesty, I don;t exactly relate you to any character (truth be told, when people say 'Jin' I immediately think of Naruto), but having to think of someone I could be able to associate you with was enjoyable.

And, okay, I know you asked for the character by means of personality, and I already explained at the beginning that I get a very Naruto-like vibe from you, but in an over-all aspect (I especially factored in your friends because I can tell that they're a huge part of your life and are incredibly proud of them), I chose Haruhi.

I really hope you took the time to read this. I enjoyed racking my brain for characters that I could relate to you. It was very fun.

Appearance-wise, Naruto, because it was the first cosplay I saw you portray. As for personality, I barely know you, so I'd be infering too much, but you seem more like Kenshin to me. Maybe that's why those seem to be the most popular answers? Ah idk! Now you should tell us who _you_ feel more like!

Okay. I'm going to attempt to come up with something halfway decent. xD;

Um... I was originally thinking a cross between Naruto and Ichigo, because you're very kind and a little hyper (which isn't a bad thing!), and when you put your mind to something you go after it with all you've got. But... then I started thinking outside anime, and thought about Lord of the Rings... And I came up with Frodo or Sam. Once again, you're friendly, but you also seem to take a lot onto yourself whether or not that thing was yours to begin with. And you're also always there for your friends, who are consequently there to back you up. Then there's the whole 'height' thing.... I'm kidding, I'm kidding! xD Uh... I think that's about all I can and should say on the topic, so I'll shush up now. Good luck with the self-assessment! ^_^

Um, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Cloud from FF7. It may be that the image of spiky hair is getting stuck in my head, but I think if you do a good Minato, you'd do a great Cloud. Miguel would make an amazing Sephiroth, on top of that. If not Cloud, Reno would be amazing too (don't really see many Reno's around).

My brain is dead for ideas at the moment, but there you have it—my completely unoriginal suggestion.

Since I don't know you on a personal level, I can't really say. Based on your previous cosplays, I'd say Naruto comes to mind the most. If I were to choose any character in general, however, I'd say you remind me of Fujioka Haruhi for certain more superficial reasons Obviously these aren't personality comparisons.

when i look at your cosplays, i say "hmm, maybe jin has the same characteristic with naruto" you seem jovial, but somehow it's different from the inside, i can say. how can i put this: "as if the storms are lost in you". or just the part i have seen this. so you could cosplay vash the stampede.. anyway i can say, that naruto's costumes just looks good on you. i can't find anyone's naruto cosplay like yours.
