FFXV: Noctis Lucis Caelum

So I finished Final Fantasy XV recently, and to put it lightly — I have a lot of feelings, ahaha! Flawed as it may be (I wish they were given another 6 months to refine it) I still loved it, and its shortcomings didn't keep me from weeping over their beautiful brotherhood.

After 100+ hours of gameplay and staring at the bros, I wanted to make certain improvements to my Noctis cosplay. For this photo in particular, I was working on my character makeup for Noct. I actually finished this cosplay back in October and have worn it to a few conventions since then, but I keep thinking I could do more with the makeup.

The changes I've made are subtle (compared to my older photos that some of you might have seen on my Facebook page or Instagram) but I can tell the difference, and that matters to me.

Here are some of the things I've done differently:
🔹 I'm conquering some minor fears and learning to add false lashes and mascara to my arsenal 😂 I used to find these things daunting, but I found that for the definition and dimension I wanted to do for Noct, my usual eyeliner and eyeshadow tricks by themselves wouldn't cut it.
🔹 I kept noticing Noct's lip color and how it was pale with a greyish undertone. I found that interesting in contrast with Prompto, Ignis, and Gladio who all have a pretty healthy flush to their complexions and lip colors.
🔹 Trimmed my eyebrows so that I could get the angle and shape more similar to Noct's brows.
🔹 Changed my contact lenses to the Ice Grey Cosplay Lenses from aliceandrabbitshop.com
🔹 Found the right eyeshadow color to do the shading around the eyes. I've been switching stuff around every time I wear Noct. I think I'll stick with this one!
🔹 Still practicing that nose contouring!

I trimmed my wig a bit more compared to the first time I wore it, but I feel like I keep having to cut more and more every time I wear it. You ever get the feeling your wig is growing? Hahah!
