On September 26, 2009, Typhoon Ondoy brought a month's worth of rainfall to Metro Manila and nearby areas in just a few hours, causing severe flooding which resulted in the loss of many lives and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people.
Hurricane Katrina rainfall = 380mm in Louisiana
Typhoon Ondoy rainfall = 410mm in Manila
In areas, floods are deep enough to swallow up large vehicles. There are houses that are completely submerged. Thousands are stranded, some only having the roofs of their houses to stand on, with no decent shelter, food or clean water. Among those people are infants, pregnant women, handicapped individuals and the elderly. Many have lost their homes and all of their material possessions. And there are some who have lost things that cannot be replaced - family members, friends, loved ones. Hundreds of lives gone, and each one followed by a long chain of broken hearts, belonging to the ones they left behind.
Here are a few of the Typhoon Ondoy photos that I had found. They're pretty tame compared to what you'll find in my full report, though.

No good deed is too small, so if you feel there is any way you can contribute, please seize the opportunity. A little kindness goes a long way.

How do you deal with haters?
I got this as a question on my Tumblr, and I felt I could share my thoughts here as well because it seems it's something a lot of people can relate to. I hope this comes to helpful to any of you guys reading.
I’m certain there are people who dislike me. Some I come to know through whisperings because I have eyes everyyyyywheeeeere.
However, I don’t feel the need to acknowledge them or do anything about it unless they are causing any real harm, especially to people I care about.
There is a popular quote that I like referencing for this topic, which gets the message across in a charming way:
“You can be a juicy, ripe peach
Mesti Datang! The HobbyCon 2013 Experience!
Earlier this year, my friends and I were invited to be overseas guests for HobbyCon in Sabah, Malaysia.
Time flew by very fast, and before we knew it...
Our first day was spent doing a lot of eating, thanks to our guide Alyssa  I will justify it as us fueling up for an action-packed weekend! We tried nasi lemak for the first time (LOVED IT), had some shaved ice desserts after, then a big dinner of clay pot rice, stir-fry noodles with clams, really tasty chicken wings, etc. and THEN we still raided Pick N' Pay for our midnight snacks because we love convenience stores and we wanted to try things we don't have in Manila.
We planned our

Free! Iwatobi Swim Club cosplay shoot outtakes!
When my friends and I first heard of "that swimming anime" called Free!, this is pretty much what we expected:
Not that there's anything wrong with that hahah, but all we were expecting was to be able to laugh at how exploitable and full of fanservice this show could be because swimming would require everyone to be half-naked. Although it started out that way, the more episodes we watched, the more we realized...
We were wrong. So wrong.
What we got was a heartwarming coming-of-age story with endearing characters and interesting dynamics. It spoke of friendship and learning your self-worth and figuring out what drives you forward.

This is my mother's mom's country and she lives there. That was the third time it flooded where she lives there.
God, I'm glad somebody knows about this, but America is all fussed up about HAITI, do those people even know where it is anyway?! (seriously, do they?!)
